Wow! 2010 is here already and we're off for another exciting year.  It's traditional to make one or two new year resolutions; how about making a spiritual resolution (if you don't already) for you and your family.
   As the saying goes, if you shoot for the stars you might hit something - if you  shoot for nothing, that's what you'll hit - nothing.
   Some suggestions are: memorize Bible verses as a family, read the Bible together, pray together more often (not only saying grace), read a missionary story, become a pen pal to a missionary and pray regularly for them, find a place to serve at church, become involved in a small group Bible study, set goals for your child's spiritual growth (Awana has a great book called "How to Raise a Modern-Day Joseph" that is an excellent guide book), or make it a priority to be in church on time  each  Sunday - this shows your family that worship is important.  These are just a few possible suggestions for you.  Maybe try one or two of these and do your best!
   Our prayer  for you and your family is that you would increase in the knowledge, love, and service for or precious Lord and Savior in 2010!
